I am writing to make you aware of the exceptional service I received at AMC Wheaton Mall 9 in Wheaton, MD.
My husband and I took our grandkids to their first movie experience to see Kung *** Panda 4.
I called the theatre first and spoke to DeShawn (one of the Assistant Managers) to see if they could accommodate my autistic grandson who is extremely sensitive to loud sounds and some visual effects.
DeShawn told me he could be accommodated and said he was looking forward to our arrival.
We were greeted when we arrived, asked about the type of accommodation we needed and provided an assistive device.
We got to the auditorium a little early and the gentleman was still cleaning. He greeted us, asked me where we were seated and said he would clean that area first.
Once the movie began, the volume had been turned down some, and my grandson was able to enjoy the movie w/o the assistive device.
The staff here should be commended for their excellence to customer service.
We have always been a little reluctant to taking them to the movies because of my grandson's disability, but were pleasantly surprised.
My grandchildren's collective experience was FANTASTIC and they are really excited about going to the movies again!

I recently saw The Eras Tour concert film at my local theater AMC Center Valley 16 on opening night (10/12)
When purchasing tickets, I was unaware of my theater selection at the Dolby Cinema Completely Captivating. Walking into the theater I was completely taken off guard because you can't hear anything walking down the aisle until you turn the corner and head for your seat.
The theater is also massive and I love that you can't see anybody in front of you, it makes you feel like you are front row!
Long story short - I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Witnessing the concert film in Dolby was like no other. I saw The Eras Tour three times live and the audio quality and picture quality inside a Dolby Cinema is unlike no other. I cannot stop telling all of my friends and family about the experience.
I never want to see another movie any other way.
Here is why I am reaching out - I am very upset that you are not offering more show times for a concert film in the Dolby Cinema. You are only showing The Eras Tour at 12:00pm Thursday-Sunday. This is a very inconvenient time. It's almost like you are shunning the film and its success.
I am petitioning that you open additional show times during the evening hours. I would love to go back and see the concert again in Dolby Cinema. ONLY. I have heard from friends that went to other theaters and only had the digital option complain that audio and visual elements were not very impressive.
Since only select theater have a Dolby Cinema and the next closest to me are over an hour away.
Please consider opening additional show times!!! If this is not possible, can you please answer me this, is the Dolby Cinema available for private showings? I have been telling everyone about the experience and sharing my thoughts and feedback on social media and I have a lot of people interested.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
I bought tickets online for thee movie theater in town, but I was somehow linked to a movie theater in another town 40 min away. The movie theater I wanted to see the movie at was closed. I could not receive refund normal way because of AMC policy about no refund at time of movie. I was happy to hear I was refunded all the money except the 10 dollar processing fee.
In the future I will probably see movies at Savoy 16 in Champaign instead of AMC 13 in Champaign. Regardless of the refund. They were open, in spite of the weather, so I got to see the see the movie. They don't charge a 10 dollar fee to buy tickets online.
They a very good deals on concession snacks, they seats are comfortable, theater had good sound and picture. It's a shame when movie theaters are struggling your company isn't doing more for their customers
User's recommendation: Know they have at time of movie nonrefundable policy, check double to make sure the theater is open, and lnow they have a 10 dollar processing fee to buy tickets online for convenience, pay in person save 10 dollars

I assume AMCs aim is to get moviegoers back in theater seats.
However, this is not the way: We went to an afternoon showing of Argylle. We arrived while the trailers were on the screen.
We left the mall immediately after the movie ended. I had validated my parking ticket.
I supposed that a validation meant that my parking would be free. Instead, I was charged $6 for parking.
If your parking validation doesn't cover the cost of the length of the film, your customers should be advised so they can decide to see the movie in a different location or perhaps see a shorter film that's not going to last longer than the parking validation.
Another solution, let the customer know the EXACT time of the beginning of the film so your customer is not paying to park just to watch trailers.
