Poor service
AMC Roosevelts Field
It's Xmas eve, I booked tickets to see Spider-Man with my 9 year old son. We went to get food prior to the movies, we ordered food which we were told 3 to 5 minutes.
I waited and watched people who came after me receive their orders. I asked for ketchup, I was told over there. Furthermore, I went to get the ketchup, and it's completely empty, and the area is a mess. The slushy machine not working.
I informed the staff that there is no ketchup. The manger behind the counter says okay and continue doing what she was doing, completed brushing me off. I waited and waited, finally my order is finished I asked her again for ketchup she tells me I will have to wait a few more minutes for someone to fill up the ketchup. At this point the movie is starting.
I asked to speak to a supervisor as I was so disappointed with the level of service and sense of urgency. I understand it was not a big deal for them but it completely ruined our visit. Remel did nothing to resolve the situation but give me a chance find after we missed the beginning of the movie and now had no food.Then to top it off we had popcorn and wrappers in my ur seats.
Very disappointed with the service and the level of cleanliness. The manger Remel was terrible and should not be in a leadership position if she does not know how to speak or deal with customers.

Terrible experience
We went to see Encanto at AMC Deer Valley in Phoenix Arizona on 12/4. The restroom was closed near our theater, the menu was sparse.
They was no cheese for nachos or pretzels. The candy was stale and the popcorn was burnt and old. The soda machine didnt have syrup and was all carbonation. The icee machine was out.
The napkins werent stocked and there were none near the soda machines that was filthy. A Disney movie for kids had 30 minutes of crap in the beginning including advertisements to come visit AMC. Kids do not have the attention span to sit through 30 minutes of advertisements and then 1.5 to 2 hr movies.
Overall this was a terrible experience and we will never visit an amc theater again. The bathroom on the second floor we were directed to had a locked door so you had to exit the theater and reenter to get back in.

I bought two tickets at the Aventura mall theatre on October 30 and repeatedly said for the 8 0clock show. We got our tickets at 640 so we headed to the theatre to wait outside.
When it got to 7 30 we thought something seemed odd since no one else was waiting.
When we checked our tickets the woman had sold us tickets for the 630 show at 640! By this time our show had started we got the tickets changed but were unable to locate our seats not wanting to be disruptive we decided to leave.
We marched back to what represented itself as customer service the individual manning the desk called her supervisor when we demanded our money back the supervisor didnt even look at us never mind offering a word of apology.
Our question is this: How is AMC able to assemble such a bunch of incompetent, uncouth and irresponsible individuals in one place?
There is definitely something wrong with your recruitment process it cant be that there are mo diligent, competent, pleasant people who want to work for you!

I sent in a form to rent a theatre on 11/22. Courtney emailed me to say she would be in the office briefly on Wednesday and out after for the holiday.
She said she would call me Monday ( today 11/29) I called her Wednesday early 9am central as I am on the east coast. She didnt pick up or call but sent an email saying she was out of the office after she said she would be in. I responded to her email to call me, I left her 3 voicemails as my event date is 12/12 and I need to get it booked. She emailed me back stating she had nothing for me booked and has no appointments with her and she is booked today how can she help

In that email thread was my request from a week ago on the actual AMC form. I would like a call from an executive above her as this is unacceptable. I have all the emails as well.
1 week, 7 days and still no call. And you wonder why the business is tanking, not from the pandemic its from a lack of trying
